In the morning of July 15th, 2020, Vice Chairman He Li and General Secretary Li Li of China Customs Society Guangzhou Branch visited HPB’s Diamond Jewelry Industrial Park in Haikou FTZ, accompanied by Vice Chairman Tong Shumin and General Secretary Wu Ling of Haikou Customs Association and Director Xie Shengwen of Macun Port Customs, etc.
The group carefully listened to HPB’s GM Zhang Baojun’s report on HPB’s business during the visit of HPB’s Diamond Jewelry Industrial Park. Mr. Zhang Baojun showed the group NGTC’s Lab and Diamond & Jewelry Show Room and introduced the working process of the lab as well as whole-procedure processing steps from rough diamond to finished diamond to diamond-set jewelry to the group, and the group also comprehended production cost and sales price of jewelry from this introduction.
In the meeting, Vice Chairman He Li gave positive suggestions for customs clearance, construction of industrial park and etc., and expressed his expectations that HPB shall strengthen cooperation with diamond & jewelry industrial clusters in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to achieve win-win development. He required HPB to make full use of favorable policies of Hainan Free Trade Port to further increase and enlarge production and operation of the whole diamond-industry chain.
